SparX is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Associate Scientist in Cell Culture. Experience in mammalian cell culture is required. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of laboratory experience with a B.A./B.S. degree, or 0-2 years of experience with MS degree in cell biology or related discipline.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior scientists in the various stages of experiments
- Constructing stable cell lines including transfection, culturing, and screening.
- Following SOPs and experimental protocols
- Keeping detailed record of all technical manipulations and results
- Conducting and troubleshooting experiments
- Contributing to laboratory organization and maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- BS/MS with experience in mammalian cell culture
- Collaborative and proactive attitude
- High level of attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in suspension cell culture such as CHO cells
- Experience in protein ELISA
